The hotel entrance will help develop the main axis of the site, giving a visual cue from the entrance of the site to the front door of the hotel. Guests will be greeted by the newly renovated entrance and the reservation desk that is set on axis to the entry drive. The seven-story lobby will reinvent the image and function of the hotel, bringing the resort feel back to the hotel. The lobby floor space will be doubled on the first level, centering the attention around the lobby bar while the ambiance of THE PLAYERS Championship surrounds hotel guests. Immediately off the lobby will be the new 150-seat restaurant with exterior seating on a deck overlooking the redesigned Florida landscape.

Additions to the hotel will include the 160-room annex, 8,000 S.F. exhibit hall, 750-space parking garage, and new retail space. The hotel annex is considered the jewel of the Sawgrass Marriott experience due to its contemporary expression of design. Included in the annex is a 7,000 S.F. double-height wedding venue and PGA Experience and Golf Shop.
